The UK’s Vaping Products Duty began on 1 October 2026. Since then, one question has landed in our inbox more than any other. Whether you use a Click kit or our nic salts, will your next order cost more?
Right now, the answer is no. We still hold stock made before the duty started, so our prices on pynepod.co.uk stay exactly where they were. In this guide, we explain how that works, what stays the same for you, and what happens once our pre-duty stock runs out.

Why our prices haven’t changed yet
Here’s the key detail. Under HMRC’s transition rules, retailers can keep selling stock made or imported before 1 October 2026 until 31 March 2027. That older stock sits outside the new duty.
So while our pre-duty stock lasts, you pay the usual price, whether you order a Click kit, a pack of pods or a bottle of nic salts. You don’t need to rush, and you don’t need to change a thing. Simply order as you normally would.
What’s not changing at Pyne Pod
Beyond the price, plenty stays exactly the same. Here’s what you can count on.
The kit you already own
Your Click device works just as it did in September. There’s nothing to update, swap or replace. Likewise, any pods already in your drawer are yours to use as normal. And because the Universal Click battery works across the Pyne Pod Click range, your battery stays ready for the next Click pod you buy.
The range you reorder from
Equally, your reorder looks the same across the whole Pyne Pod range. Each Click pod still comes with its own matching refill bottle that clicks straight in. Today, you’ll find pods for the Click 10K, Click S 30K and Click 50K, alongside the 2 in ONE range.
Meanwhile, Pyne Pod Nic Salts stay on the shelf too. You’ll find the same 10ml bottles, in the flavours and strengths you already know, ready for your own MTL pod kit. So if you fill your own pod, your usual order carries on just as before.
How you shop with us
Similarly, the way you shop with us stays put. Our site remains the official UK Pyne Pod store, and it sells only genuine products. Delivery stays free on UK orders over £30. And if a question comes up, our customer care team is still on hand by phone or email.
How you check it’s genuine
Finally, our verification check still works on every Pyne Pod. You may notice that some pre-duty products carry no duty stamp. That’s completely normal during the transition, because those products left production before the new rules began. A quick check on our verification page confirms you have the real thing. What happens when pre-duty stock runs out
Of course, our pre-duty stock won’t last forever. Once it runs out, new stock will include the duty in its price. Either way, every product page shows the full price with duty and VAT already included. So you can always check the price before you order.
